Preferred solution: An answer to the question regarding part comparability.
User's recommendation: Go with Samsung . Kenmore is made by the same manufacturer as 3/4 of the "different" name brand appliances everyone has in their homes. So, to be sure you get a different experience, Samsung is a sure bet you will have a slightly different experience.
