Well, my Kenmore Elite is only 3 years old, and they tell me no parts can be ordered. I have been without a refrigerator since May 6.

I called and a technician (repair) came out and ordered the part, but it never arrived. Another technician came once I called again and he said the part cannot be gotten; I have to replace the refrigerator. Despite this, the part still did not come, and I have been on stand-by ever since. They suggested I take out the home protection warranty, so I did, but I am wondering why, because the refrigerator was already covered by Kenmore since no part can be ordered to fix it.

I have called several times and they say 7-10 business days.

Another technician came out and I showed him the part they ordered, and he wanted to charge me $110.00 for coming out. He said, 'I didn't do anything and you have all the records, and I am not charging you.' So now it is August 14, and I'm still without an answer.

I bought a lemon refrigerator… 3 weeks after I bought it … the trouble began

For 2 years and 2 months the SAME icing situation was happening I paid $3299.00

For this GREAT refrigerator 3 weeks after buying it I had trouble with the freezer not freezing properly man came out changed a tube 1 month later same problem.. changed compressorbottom line I bought the protection plan the last time the repair man came he knew EXACTLY what the problem was unfortunately he BROKE a part Sears refused to fix it instead they authorized a replacement but ut is nothing like the 1 I had I kept telling Sears repair it was a LEMON and I wanted it replaced for the EXACT SAME ONEinstead they want to give me one that sells for$1699.00. I told them it was like I was driving a BMWand they want to replace it with Camry both are cars both have 4 wheels both have power searing but they are NOT EQUAL.

I HATE Sears especially their PROTECTION plan total ripoff

Kenmore refrigerator is not a Kenmore

I purchased my first brand-new refrigerator three years ago and went with what I thought was a Kenmore Elite. The first time I replaced the water filter, it took me two days of research to find out it requires a Daewoo brand filter.

Just recently, the water meter/sensor started leaking so I called Kenmore and they said they couldn't get the part and I should call Daewoo. So, apparently, Daewoo builds the fridges and puts the Kenmore name on them. Um, if I wanted a Daewoo, I would have bought one.

I still can't get ahold of anyone from Daewoo. Three thousand dollars down the drain.

Model 112* ***.433, Serial 0033732. If you don't have that in stock anymore, please let me know.

Otherwise I'll just throw it away and buy a new one...Or contact me and let me know??? I have nothing else to say or write.

SHOCKINGThe phone number for Kenmore customer service. DOESNT WORKIt goes straight to busy then Verizon says its not working at this time.

I bought the Sears warranty they should have offered me a replacement after the 3rd time the freezer didnt work but no they didnt and as soon as it was out of manufacture warranty the offered to replace if at EXACTLY half of what I paid for it after 2 years and 2 months of owning it.

Freezer Kenmore model KLFC019MWD failed in warranty.

Freezer Kenmore model KLFC019MWD was purchased from Lowes 9/14/2023, failed 5/15/2024 and called for service on 5/17/2024. Technician arrived from Sears Home Services on 5/28/2024.

Tech ordered a new compressor and set a new service appointment of 6/25/2024. No one arrived, status still showed parts ordered, not shipped. I called Kenmore repair at 844-553-**** on 6/25/2024. The individual said she placed an escalation, which should have happened without me asking.

On 6/27/2024 around 3pm est, I spoke with Genna. She expedited to see if part was available. Said to wait 48-72 hours, and we would be notified by email, then if no good, work toward a replacement. On 7/1/2024, Leticia , at 3:50 pm, told me to wait until July 3 to see if they answered escalation.

On 7/3/2024, at 9:15 am, I spoke with Stephi, and was told to call back next Tuesday, 7/8/2024. Now parts status shows back-ordered. So far this freezer has been a non working boat anchor for about 7 weeks, totally not acceptable.

Terrible product

My Kenmore 7550**** French door fridge broke after 14 months, 2 months out of warranty, and needs a new electronic board for over $700. The freezer over-frosted and made a loud humming noise, and the fridge wasn't cooling. It's absurd that you can't depend on a large appliance to last more than one year.

I bought a fridge from Amazon on 27 February 2023 just before end of on the 5th of February I contacted Kenmore for warranty because the fridge side was not working. Sears technician came on the 9th of February and said he needed to order a part and come back on the 8th of March.

I called back Kenmore and they told me that warranty had expired. I have a little child that need the fridge so badly.

We scheduled a service call for our seven (7) year old Kenmore Elite Refrigerator for May 3,2024, The time slot was between 8am-5pm.

The initial online request was for the repair of the indoor water system, which was leaking. I turned the water supply off to stop the leak.

The next day the compressor failed , resulting with the food needed to be removed.

the final irony ( frustration) is that I am unable to upload pictures of the

The major frustration was my repeated unsuccessful attempts to contact Kenmore via their interactive VRS.

NO luck only a closed end system without opt for an agent to update the compressor issue plus a stream of contradictory confirmation/cancellation emails regarding the upcoming service call including one on the day of the appointment and one confirming same for between 3-4am.

Hugely frustrating.

The 10 year warranty will cover the cost for the compressor with a labor cost of $350. My desire to sign up for a new extended warranty has been completely soured by this experience.

Insult to injury !!

The repairman showed me a broken piece of copper tube, which he said caused the compressor to ultimately fail.

I believe this issue was in place from the day the refrigerator was delivered, as I have noticed over the past few years that the cooling system in both the freezer and refrigerator was often below par ( softer goods in the freezer and warmer bottled goods in the refrigerator. Unfortunately, there is no way to validate this assumption

the final irony is that I am unable to upload the model information from the inside of the Kenmore Elite or a picture of the damaged copper tube from my IMac as your letter format does not accommodate the file

Never under 50 degrees ever. Called service, tech said its the fridge, they put too small compressor- sorry.

At 60 degrees we called again, same tech says oh Ive had to replace fans in these. WHAT? Didnt you know that the first time? Now over a 2 wk wait for parts.

In the meantime we are keeping bare minimum perishables in a very old mini fridge that works better than the new one and in coolers that are colder than the barely 1 year old fridge.

Terrible product, worse customer service. Over $100 in food and a customer lost
